Koochiching County Fair

This weekend I will be at the Koochiching County Fair in Northome. This is my 4th year attending. If you like old fashioned fairs and good family fun, this is perfect! I love seeing the families spending the day together! Weather is going  to be perfect, in the mid 70’s.

 

I will be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

Spring Cleaning

Bessie went in for her yearly service, so I took those two weeks and moved her to a different room. Wow what a difference it makes!! I got her back Saturday and I have been stitching every day since!She was 8 years old in December and has 1936 hours and 49,705,761 stitches and still sews like a dream! 

This week she is stitching inventory for Cook’s Country Connection 

 

Cartoons

I love the antics on the old cartoons! Elmer is never quite sneaky enough to catch Bugs. Stay tuned for more of these characters in the next few weeks. 

 

Wizard Oz

Our granddaughter Addy is performing in her school play next month. She has the part of a munchkin. I don’t have any patterns for the munchkins, so she will be getting a few of these instead of flowers. 

 

Cherry Tigers State Basketball Tournament

 

In celebration of Cherry Tigers winning section 7A championship and earning a place at State. Their first game is today, March 21 at 11am at the Target Center.

Happy 2024

We’re having a mild winter, but still cold enough to need mittens and hats. I always have a large inventory available. Sizes 1 year to adult large. Sports items in team colors are popular.
